Entertainment Visas

Performing in the USA as an artist can be a confusing process. From Grammy Award-winners to up-and-comers, First Class Immigration has successfully represented artists of all kinds for over a decade.

There are two types of nonimmigrant visas designated for artists. The O visa is for individuals who possess extraordinary ability in the arts, sciences, education, business, or athletics, or who has demonstrated record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture or television industry and has been recognized nationally or internationally for these achievements. The P visa is for members of an entertainment group that has been recognized internationally as outstanding in the discipline for a sustained and substantial period of time.

The subcategory EB-1 is reserved for those who demonstrate extraordinary ability through sustained national and international acclaim. The threshold of “extraordinary ability” in the EB-1 category is very high, and substantially higher than the O-1 Visa.
